utilizes an interesting audio phenomenon that can greatly increase the perceived loudness of an audio signal, especially drums, by clipping the top of the signal and applying make-up gain. soft clip knob is a simple off at zero and on everywhere else. can sound really interesting going into other drive devices instead of the glue compressor.
